Hello!  My name is Doneta Johnston and this is my ninth year as the Hamline School Nurse.  I am excited to be back and see all the new and returning students. I enjoy interacting with the students and being able to help and teach them about their health care needs.

A little about me...  I graduated in 1996 from then, Bethel College, and went straight into a job as a Labor and Delivery nurse.  I worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse for approximately 17 years and then transitioned into homecare where I worked with mom's and babies.  I made the change to school nursing in 2015 and have been enjoying the change ever since.  

I am married and have 4 kids (2 girls, 2 boys), 3 step kids, 1 granddaughter and another on the way.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, attempting gardening, and being a mom!! 

I am looking forward to another great year!
