Ms. Sharon Furth

Welcome to Ms. Sharon’s Pre-Kindergarten Classroom at Hamline Elementary. This year will be filled with lots of learning and fun as we work together in creating a great Pre-K experience for our learners!

The 2024-2025 school year will be my 29th year in education. I have a Master of Science degree in Early Childhood Special Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Mankato, MN.  I have taught Pre-K and Early Childhood Special Education, as well as coached teachers in district #197 and through Minnesota Reading Corps. I have been married to my husband, Dave, for 38 years. I have two grown children, son Dan (wife, Laurie, and grandson, James),  and daughter, Jess. I also have a dog named Carly. I love to be outside, walking, biking, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or gardening."
