Mrs. Frost
I am excited to welcome you to another school year! I am looking forward to having your child as a student. Fourth grade is such a fun year with so many wonderful learning activities to celebrate. In order to have a fun year, my most important goal is to create a family of learners in my classroom. I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is a valued, trusted, and integral part of our family of learners. In order to accomplish this, I have planned a variety of activities to emphasize and reinforce this goal. It is my hope that you will support and encourage this vision at home.
This will be my 5th year teaching at Hamline Elementary and is my 6th year working in St. Paul Public Schools. In my classroom, I strive to create a learning experience that is both culturally relevant and embedded in the truth that
EVERYONE HAS A VOICE and YOUR VOICE WILL BE
HEARD because EVERYONE MATTERS!
I am a St. Paul, MN native and attended both Metropolitan State University and the University of St. Thomas. I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology and my Masters Degree in K-6 Elementary Education. I am a life-long learner, however when away from school, I am a mother of two and enjoy doing everything under the sun with my children. I prioritize self-care with good nutrition, staying active and creating time for peace and quiet.
"Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to thoe who prepare for it today." ~Malcolm X
