Crowe, Emily

Hello! My name is Emily Crowe and I am teaching 4^th and 5^th grade this year. I have been teaching in Saint Paul Public Schools for 3 years and am excited for my first year at Hamline. 

I have my bachelor's degree in English and Nordic Studies from Luther College in Decorah, IA, and my master's in education from the University of St. Thomas here in the Twin Cities. 

I love to read, bake, cook, kayak, travel, drink coffee, be outside, and spend time with friends and family. I live in Northeast Minneapolis with my cat, Molly.

 As a teacher, I like to work hard so we can play hard. My classroom is always filled with laughter. I believe in voice and choice, so my students are able to take charge of their learning. 

Our community is filled with expertise and I would love to incorporate it into our classroom learning. So, parents and special adults, reach out if you'd like to be engaged in the classroom!
